We are not accepting referrals at this time.

Please check back in January 2025. If you would like to keep up to date on the programme, including when we will be accepting referrals, please email foundation@fatmacys.org.

You may be suitable for the programme if you are:

  • Currently living in temporary accommodation

  • Not a priority for social housing

  • Have the right to work and rent in the UK

  • Over 18, or turning 18 in the next 6 months

You don't need any experience in catering and hospitality to take part.

Over the course of 200-hours, we train participants in catering and hospitality skills, help you obtain a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and provide 1:1 support around wellbeing, employment and sustaining a tenancy.

The next step

After your referral, we invite potential participants to a Sign-Up Session where you can learn more about the programme. You can meet the Fat Macy's team, have a 1:1 chat to talk about where you are at, and complete a free Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
